About Us

Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, The Avatar of the Age - has repeatedly drawn the attention of all to the fact that the five cardinal principles - Sathya, Dharma, Shanthi, Prema and Ahimsa enshrined in the sacred texts of 'Sanatana Dharma' of our great motherland constitute the foundation of Bharatiya culture and civilization - nay of all religions of the world. These five principles are the Human values, which are the foundation for the humanity, and everyone should strive and imbibe them and Divinize themselves.

In November 1980, during Swami’s 55th Birthday Celebrations and the Third World Conference of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organizations, Swami blessed us to serve the delegates of the conference and devotees at Bagepalli with Love and refreshments. In the 18 days camp, wonderful divine miracles were experienced, a reference of which is made in the book “Tapovanam”. On the last day Swami visited the camp, took Arathi and blessed all. This inspired us to serve devotees throughout the year and take up several other service activities - with the blessings of Swami, Sri Sarva Dharma Samanvaya Trust came into existence in the year 1992 keeping the following goals in mind.

  • Glory of Bharat lies in its Vedic Culture - Spirituality to uphold its sanctity and importance and preserving of Vedic Heritage through collection, Circulation and propagation of Vedic literature is an aim.
  • An ounce of 'Practice' is better than tonnes of 'Precept'. Promotion of "Simple living and High thinking" ideals covered in Vedic and Shastric texts leading of a life of contentment, desirelessness and Love is another aim.
  • Dissemination of knowledge contained in the sacred texts - Vedas, Upanishads, Shastras, Agamas, etc., and spread of 'National Spirit' and 'Oneness of Mankind', as revealed by Bhagawan Baba in his Divine Discourses, Writings, Messages and Deeds.
  • Creation of Holy Environment and peaceful atmosphere for those who want to practice 'Sadhana and Contemplation' away from the din and noise of a city, through Prayers, Vedic Hymns, Bhajans, Nagar Sankirtans, Discourses, Havans, etc.,

Service is a lifetime program; it knows no rest or respite. This body has been given to you so that you may devote its strength and skills to the service of brother-man. Serve man until you see God in all men; then, what you do will be elevated to worship.

  • To establish and run “Abodes of peace – kutirs” on basis of “Self financing and No profit – No loss”, for those who want to practice ‘Vanaprasthashrama’ in their twilight of their life. Old age life and living should be full of ‘Love and Peace’, without any discrimination of caste, creed, religion or nationality.
  •  To provide FREE dormitory accommodation for the needy.
Work is worship, Duty is God. Selfless work provides satisfaction and peace. To enthuse Vanaprashthis in taking up voluntary work - service, befitting their temperament and ability for the betterment of the Ashram and surroundings and become 'Karma yogi'. Occupational therapy provides the joy and satisfaction.

  • Illiteracy is a curse for everyone - particularly for the weaker sections of society in the rural areas. To provide food, clothing, books, tuition fees etc., to those children who are in dire need of educational facilities (but cannot afford them).
  • To shelter the weak and neglected and meet their basic needs like food and clothing. Simultaneously to provide training to them in trades, arts and crafts and bring them up as 'useful citizens of the land'.
